We’re Staying Current with Flow-Through Taxation and GAAP Reporting

by | May 16, 2016 | Blog

Being constantly on top of any and all significant changes within our profession is vital for both our firm and our client’s innovation. One of the ways we’re doing just that at BRP is by serving on important committees.

Once again, Managing Partner, Jeff Bronswick, and Tax Manager, Mike Scialo, were re-appointed to serve on the Illinois CPA Society Taxation Flow-through Entities Committee. This committee is regularly focused on new regulations and legislation that have tax implications for S corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and real estate.

In addition to the flow-through entities committee appointments, Principal, Buddy Hoffman, has been re-appointed to the Accounting Principles Committee of the Illinois CPA Society.  This committee meets to further the development and recognition of generally accepted accounting principles and to enhance members’ understanding and promote their compliance with these principles.

Having our experts serve on both these committees is a pivotal part of BRP looking beyond today’s issues as we share and apply the impact of these regulations on your future.

If you have any questions about flow-through taxation for your entity or GAAP reporting services, let’s make it a point to touch on this area for your peace of mind in our next conversation and we’ll be glad to share the latest developments.
