About Matt

Matt has over 40 years of experience in public accounting, 25 of which have been in quality control and ensuring that firm engagements are delivered correctly. This includes Peer Reviews, Quality Control Reviews, Internal Inspections, and coordination of staff training. Matt has led engagement teams in many different industries over the years while working at firms ranging from 30 people to 2,000. Matt believes the purpose of his accounting life is to keep accountants – and their clients – out of trouble, and his “accounting superpower” is to know what needs to be done and figuring out the most efficient and effective way to do it.  During his free time, he is the umpire coordinator for Evanston little league and loves to travel with his wife and three children.
