Local CPA Firm Bronswick Reicin Pollack, Ltd. (BRP), with offices in Buffalo Grove and Chicago, is proud to announce that Charles Martin has advanced to the role of Senior Accountant. In his new role, Charles will be responsible for overseeing staff accountants and supervising and leading various Audit and Attest and Tax engagements.<\/p>\n

Charles Martin Jr. joined Bronswick Reicin Pollack in July 2012. Before joining BRP, Charles worked as a business valuation summer associate for a local CPA firm, during which he gained experience on valuations for buy\/sell agreements, estate and gift considerations, fair value measurement, purchase price allocations on transactions ranging from $80 million to $250 million, and more. Prior to his advancement to Senior Accountant, Charles gained experience working on audits, consulting engagements, tax research, and tax returns, and has continued working on business valuations.<\/p>\n

Charles received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Honors, Bachelor of Science in Finance with Honors, and Master of Accounting Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Charles obtained his CPA license in October 2013 and became a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois CPA Society.\u00a0 Charles will complete the requirements for licensure to become a Certified Valuation Analyst in late 2014.<\/p>\n
