Congratulations to Phil Katzberg on recently obtaining the CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) designation. We are proud to have Phil as a part of our firm, and his recent success in obtaining another certification further shows his dedication to providing our clients with the highest quality service available. CVAs are the most trusted professionals in the accounting and consulting community to serve the business valuation and litigation support needs of clients. The requirements to earn the Certified Valuation Analyst designation include being a Certified Public Accountant, completing a comprehensive 5 hour proctored examination, and successfully demonstrating knowledge of valuations through the completion of a valuation Case Study.
Phil has been a fantastic resource for RP&Co and its clients since he began his career here in October of 2006. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in accountancy at Northern Illinois University (NIU) in 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude, Phil continued his education at NIU to receive his Master of Accounting Science degree. Phil passed the CPA exam in January of 2009 and passed the CVA exam in June of 2011. Phil would like to thank God, his family, friends, and co-workers for their support throughout his professional journey.
The CVA designation administered by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts is a global, professional association that supports the business valuation, litigation support, and fraud deterrence consulting disciplines within the CPA and professional communities.
