Bronswick Reicin Pollack, Ltd. promotes Philip Katzberg to Manager
Veteran CPA appointed to Manager including a strategic committee role as firm grows throughout the Chicagoland area.
Local CPA Firm Bronswick Reicin Pollack, Ltd. (BRP), with offices in Buffalo Grove and Chicago, is proud to announce the appointment of Philip Katzberg to the role of Manager. In his new role, Phil will be responsible for mentoring, training and reviewing the work of the firm’s team of CPAs as well as coordinating client workflow and best practices throughout the office.
Phil joined BRP back in 2006 immediately following his graduation from Northern Illinois University where he received his bachelor degree in Accounting. After joining the firm, Phil quickly obtained his Master’s Degree in Accounting from his alma mater.
Currently Phil holds his CPA as well as his Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation which allows Phil to further contribute to BRP through helping support and lead the BRP’s Business Valuation practice.
Prior to his appointment to Manager, Katzberg served the firm in the capacity of Supervisor which he was promoted to in December of 2011. As Supervisor, Phil had his first entree in leadership as his role expanded into providing not only accounting focus work for clients but a leading role for the existing team.

In addition to the day-to-day leadership mentioned above, Mr. Katzberg will also be stepping into a more strategic role for the firm by acting as chair of BRP’s Operational Excellence Committee. As important is it sounds, this committee focuses on work-flow processes, procedures and best practices within the firm that truly allow BRP to provide the highest level of satisfaction to its clients.
